Apixaban (Eliquis) – Blood Clot Prevention
What is Apixaban?
Apixaban, marketed as Eliquis, is a direct oral anticoagulant (DOAC) used to prevent strokes in patients with atrial fibrillation and to treat or prevent deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE).
